Pikkewyn — 'penguin' in Afrikaans, for obvious reasons — moved herself into our kennel office one cold morning and started supervising the admin. We eventually admitted she lived here.
She is a calm, self-possessed cat who likes routines: breakfast, windowsill, inspection rounds, lap time strictly on her terms after 19:00.
She'd suit a quiet-to-medium household. She tolerates polite dogs and other cats, but she will be in charge, and everyone should know that going in.
Good with: Kids, Other cats. Adoption fee: R750 — it covers sterilisation, vaccinations, deworming and a microchip.
