This is a demonstration website. Muddy Paws Rescue is fictional and no real donations are collected — the payment below runs against Payfast's public sandbox, where no actual money moves.
Keep the bowls full
We get no government funding. Every bag of food, every vaccine and every warm blanket comes from people like you. Once-off gifts are wonderful; monthly gifts let us plan.
Food first
Around R28,000 a month feeds the kennels. Food is the one bill that can never wait, which is why monthly donors matter most.
Vet care
Every animal is sterilised, vaccinated, dewormed and chipped. The broken ones — hit by cars, mange, bite wounds — cost whatever it takes.
Warm, safe kennels
Cement, fencing, blankets and winter repairs. Unglamorous, endless, and exactly where odd amounts like R73 end up.
Rather give goods than money?
Our wishlist never gets shorter. Drop-offs during opening hours, or bring something along to any upcoming event.
Dry dog and puppy food
We feed around 60 dogs a day. Any brand, any size bag — it all gets eaten by Friday.
Kitten formula and wet food
Bottle babies arrive all spring. Formula is our single most expensive consumable.
Blankets, towels and old duvets
Highveld winters are brutal in a kennel. Worn is fine; washed is wonderful.
Vet supplies
Bandages, saline, syringes, tick and flea treatment, dewormer — ask us what's short this month.
Collars, leads and harnesses
Every adopted dog leaves wearing one, so we never have enough.
Cement, fencing and paint
There's always a kennel to fix. Half-used tins and off-cuts are welcome.
